Week 6 Day 1 (Monday, Sept 26) -Homework
1. Choose 3 out of your 5 topics proposed for project 2, and create 9 different and distinct thumbnail sketches (for each topic) that will explore possible layout choices (number of steps, proposed imagery, etc). Sketches are due next class, Wednesday, Sept 28, 5:00pm.
2. You are all required to attend the Mel Chin lecture (part of the Dream Course Lecture series) next class, Wednesday Sept 28, at 4:00pm at the Fred Jones Jr Museum of Art. Attendance will be taken (not showing up will count against class participation). Please plan on heading to Design Tech class immediately after the lecture (do not stay for the panel discussion, as we have a lot to review for Project 2.)
3. Complete Drawing Exercise 2 (create illustration based off a photograph of a person). Print out photograph and line art drawing separately onto 8.5x11 paper for review during next class.
